Jesus didn't come to be served — He came to serve. At Rise Church, we take that seriously. The same love that transformed us compels us to go out and serve our neighbors.

From food pantries to ESL tutoring, from community clean-ups to hospital visits — we show up in practical ways because we believe every person in this city matters to God.

Food Pantry Partnership

We partner with local food banks to collect, sort, and distribute food to families in need across Amherst. Volunteer slots available every Saturday morning.

ESL Tutoring

Connecting immigrants and refugees with volunteer English tutors from our congregation. We help people find their footing in a new country.

Community Clean-Up Days

We organize neighborhood clean-up days throughout Amherst — parks, streets, and community spaces. Family-friendly and open to everyone.

Hospital & Nursing Home Visits

Our pastoral care team visits the sick and elderly in local hospitals and nursing homes. Volunteers accompany us to bring presence, prayer, and encouragement.

Back-to-School Supply Drive

Every August we collect school supplies for children from low-income families across the Pioneer Valley. One of our most impactful drives of the year.
